by Ruiyang Xu

  1. PART ONE: Stand still facing the audience. Slowly raise your hand as if touching a phone. Perform slow sweeping arm motion to mimic scrolling. Sharp, quick motions representing clicks and taps; alternate between hands to depict different interaction (e.g. commenting or liking);
  2. PART TWO: Soft, repetitive movement as if trying to evade detection. Fluid cautious body movement to show panic and loss of control. Running in place, shaking hear, covering ears;
  3. PART THREE: Arm spread wide, heavy steps. Walk slow. Sweeping hand slowly and repetitively. The end.
